Are there really any easy diets that work?

I’ve tried Atkins and Nutrisystem but they just don’t work for me. I need something that is easy to follow and doesn’t require a lot of recipe planning or special foods.

I used Nutrisystem too but I realized it was really all about portion control. For a couple of months now I’ve been following a “calorie shifting” plan that mixes up the types of food that are allowed.
I’m seeing some good results, and it has an online meal plan generator – takes the work out of what to prepare for.
