Coffee Bowl

I have a silverplated FB Rodgers tea set. It includes a platter, creamer, sugar bowl, Coffee Pot, tea pot.?

Seems like a full set. I found it in my parents garage. I am sure they are from the 1960′s as my father worked for folger’s coffee and I believe it was a promotional item that was never used. Does anyone know anything about these types of items or what the value might be?

I checked on ebay and you might get $100. Silver plated anything isn’t as valuable as sterling silver anything – as it is a plating. Silver over a cheaper base metal and not silver through and through.
Also, the buyer pool for this kind of item is growing smaller and older and as with most collectibles. They enjoy “their place in the sun” for awhile, then folks move onto something else.
As a decorator item in the right place, you might have an easy sell.
