How bad is one coffee cup in two days?

I have read research (and I believe it, too) that coffee is not good for you. However, I usually have one coffee every couple of days. How bad is it for me? Thanks!

The problem with the article is that it blames your bad diet behavior on coffee.

Coffee isn’t bad for weight. just because “Coffee is socially connected to rituals that involve eating” doesn’t mean it’s the cause of weight. Just eat something healthy. Starbucks is more of a problem than coffee: many drinks people buy there have over 300 (and some over 500) calories where plain coffee has less than 1 calorie in every 2 ounces.

Many people rely on caffeine to keep going and never get enough sleep. Plenty of studies have shown that lack of sleep causes health issues (even without caffeine), yet everyone still blames coffee for the problems. No one ever seems to think that it could be the three hours of sleep they’re getting.

Coffee has been shown in independent studies (yes, they’re promoted by the coffee industry) to reduce the chances of developing Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Type II Diabetes (unless you drink multiple 300+ calorie Coffee Drinks per day), and even reverse mild cirrhosis of the liver. It has way more antioxidants than tea (tea contains fluoride that is bad for the thyroid).

If you’re trying to avoid caffeine, decaf has been shown to have greater health benefits than regular. The removed caffeine is used in cosmetics (the biggest user of caffeine), medicines, and sodas as well as tons of other food products.
