Have your children ever embarrassed you in Public, by their candor?
Well I may not be a parent but I am a Nanny and I have had some of my children embarrass quite proper.
I used to work for this family many years ago, and one of the little girls for what ever reason, loved to run around with no clothes on…Her Dad used to joke around that he had a future stripper on his hands.
Well one day we were in the middle of a restaurant, when a very nice old lady asked Isabelle what she wanted to be when she grew up…she thought about it for a second then proudly announced to the whole restaurant that she was going to be a stripper…boy was my face red.
The second incident that I had was when I was at the Zoo, with two of my children, we got in line to wait for the carousal ride, there directly in front of us was a rather large but nice lady, which waiting the ladies pager went of and one of my girls yelled “watch out she’s backing up”!
we left after that.
Does anyone else have any horror stories, I’d love to hear them.
the best are always bathroom stories. My daughter is 2.5 and one day she had to potty when we were at the mall so we go into the bathroom and she says mommy it doesn’t smell pretty in here. So I said okay sweetie lets not talk about it lets just potty and go. So she goes potty and we are washing our hands when a lady comes out of the stall beside her and my daughter says mommy she is the one who went pooh and made the bad smell.
I was so embarrassed lucky for me the lady had a little girl of her own and has been there to. Gotta love the kiddos.
